Pumpkin dessert

Today’s dessert has the taste and aroma of autumn, Pumpkin dessert is always present in my house every fall because  is among the most appreciated by my family.
The recipe is simple and I hope it will be helpful and you will bake it too.
In my case I cannot say how quickly disappeared from the plate ... this cake is delicious and you cannot stop eating ..... the baked dough is softer, and if you have the good fortune to reserve one portion for the next day ... is become better  ....
I share with you today how to prepare!

Ingredients for Pumpkin dessert
For the sheet of pastry


200 g butter at room temperature
150 gr powder sugar
a pinch of salt
vanilla extract
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking powder
400 g flour + for the work surface

Filling
a pumpkin of 1.5 kg
100 gr caster sugar
10 gr vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
I’ve started with pumpkin which I cut in half, I removed the seeds, I peeled and I chopped the food processor.
I put it in a saucepan with the sugar on the stove and I let it cook a little and reduce.


After I got off the heat I added vanilla sugar and I let it to cool.
I did not put in the chopped pumpkin cinnamon because it will change color, and I do not want this.
For the dough I mix the butter with a pinch of salt and powdered sugar. Add the egg and started to add the sifted flour and the baking powder.


When the dough no longer sticks to your hands is ready, but I leave in the refrigerator about 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and I stretched one with rolling pin on my tray size (33 cm x 23 cm).
Over the first sheet of dough I put the pumpkin filling. Sprinkle over pumpkin the cinnamon powder and put the other sheet dough on top.
I pressed the edges of the pie with a fork and all pinched with a fork the top sheet.
Bake the pie in preheated oven at 170-180 g for 40 minutes and until catch a little bit of color.



After baking let it cool, partitioned and powder with powdered sugar.
